Brothers Swimming

Since the clubs inception in 1993, Brothers has had swimmers on all major open teams including the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, World University Games and Pan Pacific Games. 2008 has been our most successful year to date, with our Head Coach, Matthew Brown and swimmers, Emily Seebohm and Brenton Rickard being chosen to represent Australia at 2008 Beijing Olympics.  Ermily has been part of this program since the age of 4 years.  Brenton swam here as a junior and whilst attending St Joseph's Nudgee College.  He is now part of the Australian Institute of Sport training program in Canberra.

Our focus during the next Olympiad is for more of our senior athletes to qualify for national youth and open teams in preparation for London 2012. At the same time, we are developing our 12 and under program so our swimmers continue to emerge from the ranks.
